LOVE
HAS NO ONE THAN THIS
The world celebrates romantic love on
Valentine's Day.
But what if the greatest love isn't about finding someone —
it's about being found by Someone who already
chose you?
what if the greatest love isn't about finding someone — it's about being found by Someone who already chose you?
you were
made foR more
That persistent feeling that something's missing.
Deep down,
you know it.
That hunger for connection that no relationship can fully satisfy.
That sense that life should mean more than this.
you weren’t imagining it.
you were created for
perfect friendship
perfect
friendship
with god
a relationship where you’re
fully known
fully loved
where there’s
no hiding
no performance
just presence
But somewhere along the way,
that friendship was
bROKEN
because here’s the
uncomfortable truth…
bROKEN
because here’s
the uncomfortable truth…
eVEry one of us has chosen
our own way
our own way
Instead of God’s way.
The Bible calls this sin—
not just the big, obvious stuff,
but the everyday rebellion.
The times we've put ourselves first.
the MOMENTS WE’ve hurt others.
the choices we knew weren’t right but made anyway.
from god.
And sin doesn't just make us feel guilty.
it actually separates us
from god.
have sinned and fall short of the glory of god.
all
romans 3:23
= all of us.
every. single. one.
and the consequence?
the
wages
of
sin
is
death
sin
the wages

is
romans 6:23
Not just physical death,
but a spiritual separation from god —
forever.
no amount of good deeds,
that’s the problem we can’t fix on our own.
religious efforts,
or trying harder
can bridge that gap.
here’s where jesus did things differently to anyone else.
or any other religion.
while we were still sinners,
god didn’t send a rulebook or a self-help program.
he sent his son, jesus —
he sent his son, jesus — fully god and fully human —
to walk among us,
to live the perfect life we couldn’t live,
and then to do the unthinkable —
that chose to lay Down
a love

he laid down his life
jesus went to the cross for us.
he took the punishment that should have been ours.
he bore the weight of every sin,
every wrong,
every rebellion
— yours and mine.
the separation we caused,
the death we deserved,
he laid down his life
his lifefor us.
he endured.
he died,
but that’s not where the story ends.
but that’s not where
the story ends.
three days later, jesus rose from the dead.
he conquered sin, death and grave.
and in doing so,
he opened the door
for us
to come back into
friendship
with god
not master and slave.
not to obey the rules,
perform
the rituals,
hope we measure up.
friendship
with god
“i no longer call you servants…
instead, i have called you friends.”

what does this friendship mean for you?
what does this friendship mean for you?
you are chosen
before you ever thought of him,
he thought of you.
not because you earned it
or deserved it,
but because love like this
doesn’t keep score.
it just gives.
you are seen
in your loneliest moment,
when you feel most alone,
jesus sees you.
not your achievements,
not your potential,
just you.
and he calls you
friend.
in your loneliest moment,
when you feel most alone,
jesus sees you.
not your achievements,
not your potential,
just you.
and he calls you
friend
you are seen
you are chosen
before you ever thought of him,
he thought of you.
not because you earned it
or deserved it,
but because love like this
doesn’t keep score.
it just gives.
you are known
every fear you hide,
every dream you carry,
every scar you bear
he knows them all.
and his response?
not judgement.
not distance.
just presence.
just love.
you are known
every fear you hide,
every dream you carry,
every scar you bear
he knows them all.
and his response?
not judgement.
not distance.
just presence.
just love.
jesus extends to you right now
this isn't just a nice idea.
the invitation
this is
this isn't poetry or metaphor.
this is the invitation jesus extends to
you
right now
wide open
the door to friendship with him is
jesus opened the door for us to be
friends with him
the door to friendship
with him is
wide
open
and now he knocks on the door of your heart
